Arrive Alive
Arrive Alive is the UK’s only registered charity that is solely dedicated to funding lifesaving voluntary operated vehicles and equipment for Community First Responders (CFR’s).
The Hub @BA15
The Hub includes a foodbank, access to computers, support completing applications for jobs and benefits, debt and welfare benefits advice, money management together with general advice and support plus facilities including a meeting space.
Dundee and Angus Foodbank
Dundee & Angus foodbank operates on donations of IN-DATE food. However on occasions they run out of certain commodities and need to buy them. They also run 2 vans to distribute the food round their 2 distribution centres in Angus, 1 distribution centre and warehouse in Dundee and make deliveries
Bassetlaw Foodbank
Sadly hundreds of people across Bassetlaw are finding it impossible to make ends meet. Many suffer in silence, too embarrassed to speak to anyone, instead skipping meals as a result. In 2023 we supported 2,061 households with emergency food parcels. We know this is a fraction of those in need.
Braintree Area Foodbank
Braintree Area Foodbank have been providing food, for those in crisis, since April 2012. Their mission is to see that no one should go hungry. With centres in Braintree, Halstead and Witham, the need for the Foodbank is increasing with over 5,703* people fed between 2021-2022, of which over 2,595
Cambridge SU
The SUpermarket was launched to support students facing financial difficulty and provide them with free food. It is a drop-in service that runs from 8am-8pm every weekday in our SU Lounge – just pop in and grab what you need from the SUpermarket shelves!
Booth Centre
The Booth Centre is a community centre run with people affected by homelessness. The Centre provides a warm welcome, an opportunity to belong, to gain a purpose and rebuild lives.
Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary
Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary takes in & re-homes 800 cats, dogs & small animals per year. Their mission is to provide animals shelter from harm & the promise of a brighter future.
