Around 250 people sell Big Issue North each week. Big Issue North vendors buy the magazine from one of our regional offices for £1.50 and then sell it on established pitches in towns and cities for £3. They keep the £1.50 they make on every magazine.

Established in 1984, Streetlife is an organisation which assists vulnerable young people in Blackpool, a lot of whom access their service as homeless. Their aim is to enable and empower young people to make informed choices, about issues affecting their lives. Streetlife provide support – for those young people 16

Open Hands is a Christian charity providing essential items, English classes, and support to people in need. They love to go the extra mile, offering care, dignity, and hope to everyone they meet.

We don’t think anyone in Leeds should have to face going hungry. That’s why our ten food bank sites provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.

Bath Foodbank is merging with Somer Valley and Kenysham Foodbanks. From 3rd June 2025, Genesis Trust Bath will be running the combined foodbank and be operating under the new name of Bath, Keynsham & Somer Valley Foodbank. The Outside Project, an LGBTIQ+ Community Shelter, Centre & Domestic Abuse Refuge for those in the community who feel endangered, are homeless, & feel they are outside of other services.
